Goddess Saraswati is the Goddess of knowledge, skill, art and performance. We worship her with devotion to sharpen our perception, cognitive ability and artistic capabilities. On every Vasant Panchami, we chant Saraswati Vandana and seek her blessings. Prayers are also offered to Lord Ganesha as an integral part of this rich Indian tradition.
On this occasion, girls and boys wear yellow Saree and Panjabi to enhance the essence of Vasant season. Young children are made to write their first alphabet on this special day and dedicate their entire career to the Goddess.
