Folklores are inherent in every culture. In India, the folklores encompass myths on deities and combine age-old traditions with intriguing stories that allure and captivate us all. Each folklore in India centres on a few significant morals that render a lesson in the end.
One of the most remarkable characters of traditional folklore and a popular deity all across India is Lord Krishna. An incarnation of Lord Vishnu, he is said to have 108 births. Mentioned across numerous epics like Mahabharata, Ramayana, the Puranas and Bhagvat Gita, Lord Krishna’s cameo appearance weaves stories of how he defeated fearsome demons, enemies and entities.
One of the most famous stories of Lord Krishan’s endeavour is his undying love for a married queen Radha. His character was hard to speculate; spreading love and joy in one, and being cool as ice as he led the mighty Arjun against war with the Pandavas, his alluring tales would stay with readers long after they finish listening to them.
