Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

There are days when we get tired of this rat race and our soul yearns to seek the inexplicable intricacies of life. We try to break free from our daily routine and travel to places that maybe, are less complicated. Maybe a humble village can quench this thirst… where we can sooth our minds and rest our eyes on something closer to our heart. Maybe something that has a human touch…

Handicrafts! It’s not just any kind of creation, but an epitome of creativity shaped by the hands of human emotions, expressions and labour. Each of the products take shape amidst joy, sorrow, love of every craftsperson.

There are people in our rural India who work so hard to meet both their ends by creating handiworks. But their dreams are so different than our metropolitan ones, isn’t it? They craft various products with so much dedication and passion maybe working under a thatched roof, embedding every piece of their emotions to make it alive.

India Imprints extends their arms towards saving this most possessed art of India. We understand the unrecognized tale that goes behind every artwork made by those artisans. The ingenuity of these works is priceless and; hence, we are trying to preserve the glory of Incredible India that includes textiles, home décor, and other creative masterpieces.

“Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.” -Margaret Wolfe Hungerford.

The true essence of these crafts can be recognized by people who can truly empathise with the artisans. They know that money can’t really buy love. The subtlety of the artwork can only be captured straight from heart where brain has less work to do.

So, let’s be a part of this eternal journey, and celebrate the desire of our inner callings. Let’s preserve Indian Handicrafts together at India Imprints!
